I win! I win! I win!

Some time ago, I posted that Dan Nelson/CNAC/JD Byrider screwed me.
Long story short, I co-signed for a friend and when friend defaulted on the truck (I told them I WOULD NOT co-sign for)I was not notified and given the chance to correct the problem. To make things worse, 18 months after they repo'd the truck, made mud out of my credit, and life interesting for me, I got a call from the local police department. It seems when they sold my truck at auction they forgot to take our (mine and the guy I co-signed for) names off the title. It seems I still had a 1991 Ford F-150 with a badly dented tailgate running around. Funny thing, It was auctioned in Council Bluffs, IA and ended up back in my neighborhood. Anyway... I was a little upset... I didn't want to be responsible for the truck from the beginning. (Remember, I said I wouldn't co-sign if that was the only choice...).

Well, today, July 20, 2006 I finally won! The ENTIRE entry from Dan Nelson/CNAC/ JD Byrider was removed from my credit report. =)

Like I suggested before, contact the Consumer Protection Commission in your state. They love to investigate bad businesses, and JD seems to be a damn good target.
