Harassment Issues??
I am looking for people who are being harassed by JD Byrider and CNAC in Jacksonville Florida. I have talked to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office about this and what is happening to me IS considered harassment and we are in the process of pressing charges against CNAC as I am writing this. We are looking to speak with others who have had similar problems with CNAC for a possible Class Action Lawsuit. Your problem
You can move out of state and according to JDByrider/CNAC you have to give them a 30 day notice prior to moving or they can repossess the vehicle. They of course will threaten to sue you for the balance of the loan due to your signing the retail installment contract. I would advise you to contact your state attorney and tell them you were sold a lemon and want out of the contract. They will contact JDB/CNAC for you and log your complaint as well as tell them what settlement you would like. They have so many days to then respond to your complaint with what they will do. I keep telling everyone on this site to contact their state attorney general as that is what has helped other people in your situation. JDB does not want state attorney's in their business because the result could be costly to them if they are investigated by states because of all their unethical business practices.

Don't waste your time with the police as there is no violation of the law they can pursue. JD
Byrider is guilty of predatory lending practices which is handled by state attorney generals. Both of you need to go online to your state attorney general and file an online complaint and you will be asked how you want to resolve the complaint. Be professional and specific on your complaints and not just mad.
