WoW!!!!

Well I guess I'll add my story to the mix. I had recently filed bankruptcy 2 years ago. I had both my cars repo'd and I needed a car in a hurry. So stupid me (without the knowledge of knowing I could've gone elsewhere) goes to JD Byrider because they will give a car to anyone. Well they gave me one a '97 Ford Escort with 96000 miles on it for $7000.00. How dumb I know! But I did it and what a mistake!!!! Not even 2 days later check engine light comes on! So I drive it there and say something is wrong with my car. "Well you voided your warranty by driving it here with the check engine light on." Well now I'm screwed so I just continue to ride it out. Well the tail pipe then falls off. I take it to the shop get a new tail muffler. Then the heater blower goes to hell. I got that fixed. Then the speedometer goes. I get that fixed. Now the down pipe is disconnected from the cat. The speedometer has also gone out again but now it won't shift out of 1st gear. Which happened the first time. The head gasket leaks as well as the radiator. So it's sits in my driveway unused. Even if I do get it fixed I'm scared as hell to drive it. I would use my wifes car in order to pick up the kids because I didn't want to drive them in mine, when it worked. All in all just like the rest of you I have had a very bad experience with them and can't trade this thing in for 5 bucks. So I'm at a loss of what to do I've dumped so much time and money into this thing and have gotten so frustrated driving it because it felt like a new problem everyday. What needs to happen is all of us who have been burned need to stand together to fight back. I don't know if you've been to ripoffreports.com but there's more on there. We can do something about it if we want to. But unfortunately I am not in a legal field or know much about law. I would be in on whatever I feel like printing out all these complaints and posting them all over my area for all to see.
