...Sticking it to JD Byrider and CNAC like they stuck it to us...

3250 W Washington St Indianapolis In 46222

Hello,

I am actually on my second van from this JD Byrider not by choice. The frist van was a 1999 Ford Winstar in which they couldnt get the engine fixed even after they had replaced it. I now have a 2000 dodge caravan with many issues and they still refuse to fix it correctly. Sean which my account mamanger is very rude and has informed me that there will be a repo truck here tonight to pick it up because I am 3 days late on the payment because my husband and I moved to TN and just moved back and he started a job making 15.00/ hr I told sean that the best I could do is come in there in 14 days and pay the whole back amount whick he REFUSED to wait on. He begain to yell at me and informed me that he hated dealing with people like me. I called Vicki (very sweet lady btw she was my old account manager) and asked to talk to someone above him he then called me back and started making threats to me. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN OR HAVE ANYONE GO ALONG WITH THEM!!!! I can not believe how awful they have treated me.

P.S.

Also, not providing a loaner car when a customer's vehicle is being serviced is not an "evil" JD Byrider thing.

Most insurance companies will not cover delarship claims on accidents that happen in loaner vehicles. Or if they do, it costs the dealership an outrageous insurance premium to do so.

Thats why most dealerships choose not to give out loaners.

So don't blame the car lots on that one...
That is an "evil" insurance company thing...

Loaners

>>First off they told the payments are 350.00 amonth for 3 yrs<<

At a conventional lot, the terms are 5 to 7 years...add THAT up at $350.00 a month!

>>and that they dont give loaner cars while yours is being fixed thats a bad sign right there<<

How's that a bad sign?? I don't know too many car dealerships that DO give loaners.

>>i dont want to buy a car and then have it break down and they still want to get paid.<<

If you bought a car from a conventional dealership...and the car breaks down...do you really think they won't expect to still get paid?? You betcha they will!!

Not sure how any of this points to Byrider being a bad dealership. You just described standard policies and proceedures used by the majority of car dealers in business today. Conventional or buy here/pay here.

They got $1100 dollars out of me in 2 months.

I HATE CNAC/ JDBYRIDER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! FAKE FINANCE CO./ CAR DEALER.

Everything was fine until I signed all the papers and put $300 down, the second month I was ONE Effing day late on the note and they came to repo the car!!! They talked to me (Tim Cincinnati) like I had horrible credit and like I needed them..... I dont, I had choices and still do!!! They threw all my stuff in a black trash bag, I mean literly threw it in a trash bag. Anyway I had a bad experience with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

responce

they screwed me over to but i'm about to fight them back

STARTED THE PROCESS OF BUYING A CAR FROM J.D BYRIDER

I recently went into J.D byrider to buy a car, I heard the program ,and im thinking of going with this option because my situation is real real bad, i got bad credit and a repo on my credit. I dont have alot of money down and need a car. Im scared because the cars on the lot look bad, and after reading this website, i re-thinking buying from them. First off they told the payments are 350.00 amonth for 3 yrs, and that they dont give loaner cars while yours is being fixed thats a bad sign right there,i dont want to buy a car and then have it break down and they still want to get paid.Im in maryland , Im not sure if the same things that happened to the people on here, happended locally. I think they might be my only choice, because i need a car! They keep saying that its about the program, and not the car, but i need the car, thats the whole freakin purpose right?

Its your choice

Just be careful out there is all I have to say. I need another car now, unfortunately, after putting $1300 into a car last mnth. I have learned from my horrible experience is all I can say. There are bad people in every company...this one..or another one. Try to find a place with a warranty. Do you have Drivetime up there? I know they have newer cars, and a warranty. Weigh your options, is the best advice I can give. There are people everywhere that are looking just to make money. They, sadly, could care less if you have a car that runs as long as you have a contract with them to have to pay it all regardless. Have you tried a Ford, Chevrolet, or one of those places..you'd be surprised of your options, even with less than perfect credit. Good luck!

Too many JD employees

There are so many employees..that post. And they know all because they work at JD BYRIDER or CNAC. How dare you post things you know nothing about. Each Jd Byrider is not like the other. Just because the one that you work for works with their customers doesn't mean they all do. I had the best experience in Lancaster, PA. I paid off my car and was only late once or twice a couple days. I had the WORST of my life in Jacksonville, FL. They wouldn't accept my payment on the first, thats right--THE FIRST-- time i was late 5 days, and my car was repo'd at day 7. They lied to me to try to get me to take the car in! They aren't all the same. These employees with there "you must have had 10 repos and must have went bankrupt 4 times" attitude makes me sick, because its not true.

Me Thinks...

As Shakespeare said:

Me thinks you doth protest too much...

And what I DO know about is what I saw on the majority of customers credit reports...

You tell me not to write about things I know nothing about...

Well sister, thats the pot calling the kettle black...

I saw those credit reports, you didn't and I know damn well what I am talking about.

Maybe your not one of them...

But they are out there. Trust me!

Payment

My question to you is this:

I know moving is a costly expense. The fact you were moving to be closer to hubby's great new job makes sense.

However, wasn't your payments set up for the same day of the week? I mean you knew the payment was coming up. Why didn't you put money back for your car payment??

And I really, really doubt that they repoed your car after only 3 days if this was the first occurance.

Come on now...be honest...
