...Sticking it to JD Byrider and CNAC like they stuck it to us...

Not all bad.

I can't speak for every location and service, but in my situation I can say that the concept is sound. I went through a divorce a few years back and lost everything.....house went into forclosure, car repoed, and I was out of work for 6 months after a wreck and finally filed for bankruptcy.

My credit score before all this was well over 700 and after this I couldn't even get a cell phone without a substantial deposit. Long story short I was at the mercy of anyone who would take a chance on me again.

I was in a the same situation I am sure many find themselves in because in my area without a car you can't get a decent job, and without a job you can't get a car.

Long story short I may have been lucky because the car that I am sure I highly overpaid for has had very little repairs and JD fixed everything major that it required (some electrical shift switch). Three years later after paying evey note on time I have paid off the car and my credit is back to where I can now go to a dealer and buy a car through them (although I won't because this has no note and gets me from A to B).

Bottom line is that each of us found ourselves in a bad situation (sometimes at no fault of our own) and you have to eat a little "crow" for a period to get back on your feet. I might also mention that I looked at the monthly note as not only a way to get transportation, but to repair my credit which it did. I have other friends who have taken a cheaper route in a "rent to own" car or buying a cheap "beater" and three years later they are still in the same position they were when they started credit wise.

Just my two cents.

I have had a good experience myself

Well, we just recently purchased our third vehicle from JD Byrider. We have had nothing but good experiences with our local office here.

I just got a 2000 Chevy Blazer and at the time of signing the papers I told them a few things I wanted done before my warranty was up. I wanted a rotate and balance and the a/c checked. I took my car in and they paid for all the repairs. I ended up getting 4 new tires, my a/c fixed, a new idler arm, and they fixed the rear contact for my rear defrost at no charge to me.

We already had a car financed with Toyota and decided it would be better for us to go to JD Byrider. We ended up with a better car loan then we got from Toyota.

All in all I have to say Our JD Byrider is Awesome Here in Illinois.

This program may not be for everyone

Like i said, this program may not be for everyone. I think everyone has a car lemon story to talk about. Everyone , at some point in thier life has bought a lemon. Myself included. I was in the same situation , going through a divorce. Had bad credit due to that. I had purchased a car with cash a year before i got mine with JdByrider. It was a good car for a year till the head cracked in it. I had bad credit and looked for awhile trying to get another car. The only option to me was the "buy here pay here" option. Where you have to pay ALOT down and pay outragious payments and finance charges. I knew this. The only thing that made me go with JdByriders program was there 2 year/24,000 miles service warranty. I would rather pay the outragious prices and have a chance of getting my car fixed while paying for it than just be stuck and have to go out and get another car six months down the road.

This program doesnt work for everyone. Ask yourself why you ended up at JdByRiders to begin with. Ive heard alot of complaints from online as well as when i take my car in to be serviced. I sit and listen to these people complain and threaten to never use JdByRider again. You wouldnt have purchased a car from this company if you had had a better choice. The place in Tennessee i purchased mine at was great. Ive had my car serviced since ive gotten it. I have had great service from their service department. And from the finance company as well. I knew what i was agreeing to when i signed the papers. I hope i dont have to go back there to purchase another car once this one is paid for because if i dont then that means my credit has been restored and the program worked like it was supposed to.

You really ARE stupid, Huh?

Third vehicle huh ? Been through the credit repair program TWICE already and you can't get a better deal from a real dealership? You gotta be the thickest headed dolt on the planet, you're still bashing your own criminal enterprise. If you had a vehicle financed from Toyota, you could certainly find a better credit deal from a far better car dealership. Stop trying to bullsh*t people, idiot.

Nice to hear from you Mr. DeVoe

Jim DeVoe Jr. is the owner, nice to see he knows how to do a post on here. Although it probably took all the senior officers to compose that story, Brent Newman and Randy Fields are the other head wienies that run that mess. Laughable that "awesome" and JD are used in the same sentence, maybe you guys should try stand up too, you certainly couldn't do worse. Better yet, why not have everyone call you guys personnally so they can vent thier displeasure one on one. 317-249-3001

So I guess you think that

So I guess you think that this one company doesn't have any positive feedback with any of their customers? YOU the customers of this company have a current satisfaction rating of 95% !!!!!!!!! (jdbfacts.com as of 4/6/2008) Why can't you understand that there are people out there that work the program, get better credit and better their position in life? Not everyone can continue to blame society and other people for their problems like alto I have seen on here. I have seen most "pro-byrider" accounts on here are blocked quickly and comments deleted so the truth is escaping everyone.

Numb Skull !

Don't you get it, dumb-ass? The jig is up! Once a government entity finds that you have violated the law with you practices, and you continue with the SAME business model that got you into trouble in the first place, you earn the trouble that you get! If you truly had a "customer satisfaction rating of 95%", you would have a lot more important things to do than be on the Internet, personally trying to save face on a website devoted to people that have had a taste of your "Credit repair"! Again, Mr. Devoe, because we were in need due to personal misfortune, and were vulnerable to the sales pitch, does not mean that you are dealing with idiots. Even people with college degrees have misfortunes in life, sometimes sending us your way. As the name implies, You picked the right one to screw with! Loopholes in the law can be closed and those found to be using said loopholes can and will be punished under the law. Organizing people with the right information will eventually bring you to your knees. And what's more, I hope you lose all that you have gained, but God spare your life. That way, you can have the opportunity to revisit the lives that you inflict on others with your "Business". This cause is something that I have become passionate about and I vow to work endlessly to organize your victims against you to encourage the States Attorney General's Office in every state that you commit these crimes in, to open an investigation onto the methods that your business practices. And your finance company can bring it's own set of problems, Thanks for the video cameras in the "closing room", that is enough to bring enough suspicion as to why you feel that you need them in the first place. Could it be that you know in the outset, that this is going to end badly? I think so, and so does a number of my colleagues, hence, the information to the public that the proper channels do work when the complaints are numerous and spread throughout the consumer protection industry through complaints by your former customers. Just like you told one of the people that posted on this very site, Shut up and quit whining! If your business is doing so great why are you worried about what people post on this site ? WBS, idiot !

Program is a bunch of bulls#$t

Not only do you not get "reliable" transportation with any vehicle from byrider, but the credit "repair" program is crap. Supposedly they report to all three bureaus twice a month, the whole reason for the every other week payment. I have made all my payments on time, save one a year and a half ago with their permission, and yet it is not being reported on my credit report as it should. I need out of my byrider van, it's on it's last leg so I went to a dealership to try to finance another and found that payments had not been reported on my report for almost 2 months, and it's not showing all of my every other week payments for the two years. Credit report shows I owe about $1800 more than my last byrider receipt. Buying into a credit program with the added bonus of a car, what a load of Bull!!!

How long have you been working for these theives?

The story is poorly crafted, well written, but poorly crafted. Stick to what you know and you will be found out, I just wish I could see your face when the business closes and you theives go to jail.
