...Sticking it to JD Byrider and CNAC like they stuck it to us...

shut up already

I just have one question for all you whining complaining people whose fault is it you have bad credit? the answer is your own fault!! your just lucky there are people like jdbyrider out there that only deals with people who have bad credit or else all of you would be walking!! so do yourself a favor and get a better job so you can get a better life and then get a better car instead of crying about it like a bunch of babies!!!!

credit/just looking

Sometimes people just get in a financial bind through no fault of their own. Everyday people are losing their jobs, have medical crises, get taken advantage of by unscrupulous people, or just have plain bad luck. I don't think anyone intentionally puts themselves in a position of losing their credit. However, their are organizations offering credit that take advantage of the situation by offering shoddy merchandise at exhorbitant interest rates. I am so glad I found this website before I shopped at Byrider. I didn't know that this firm operates like Drivetime. I have pretty good credit, so I don't need their services. But, you shouldn't have to give up your first born just to browse their lot.

Couldn't say it better myself....

dcmleod01 says
***"I have pretty good credit, so I don't need their services."***

So the people who DO need these types of services can either be happy it's available or continue crying that they get taken advantage of. The later will most likely prevail.

To all of you who have been through a program like this and are driving your brand new car because your credit is back on track, congratulations!

At least we saved one!

Smartest move you could have made! Thankfully you will not have to experience the customer service that JD provides, or all of the other methods that they would use to control you. That seems to be thier ultimate goal, I think they are a front for something else, maybe they have a mafia connection? Don't laugh, with the tactics that this company is known for, making money is not thier primary goal.

YOU SUCK!

I am going to guess your stupid ass is an employee????????

Boo Hoo!!!!

As a person who bought a vehicle from JD, I have had nothing but a great experience with them. Yes, the car I bought was not the best and cost way more than it was worth, but what could I expect when I put myself in a bad credit situation. Sure, they took me to "Brown Town"! Thats what they do, they are in it to make some cash.
They have already made the money back on the car when you gave them the down payment. The rest is gravy for them, so if you dont pay them, its no biggie. They will repo it and sell it to the next person and the cycle continues.
My car did not have many issues, so I guess I was lucky. When the car had problems they fixed it, once at no charge. I make my payments on time and now am about to purchase a brand new vehicle with a standard dealership. Stop Boo Hooing, you know what you are getting into when you go there. They deal with alot losers, so cut them a little slack.

HOW MUCH ARE THEY PAYING YOU

That post was company material if it was anything. I am guessing that you either have a stake in this thievery or you are paid to monitor these sites and report to the head thief. This is such a slap in the face from you jackasses that it would end in punches face to face and I suspect you know that! It is painfully obvious that you are affiliated with JDByrider/CNAC so either you are a flunky or a brazen thief. Do you realize that you repeat the same company "mantra" in each post. Give it a break, your lines might have fooled us once but you have got to be full of yourself if you think it will happen again even if just by having the slightest bit of trust in what you say. A legitimate business that offered and DELIVERED what they put into words doesn't need to use the law to rip people off. Repossessing vehicles for being a day in default, unheard of at any other dealerships Ive heard of, new or used. Your warranties are an industry joke and YOU and every other employee know that. The interest rate should be inflated for the risk that you take but the rates that you charge is nothing short of scandalous. And lets not forget the "QUALITY" vehicles that you sell in the first place. If you have a need to repackage that story to soothe your guilt, write it on your bathroom mirror so you can at least look yourself in the face. What this company does is just as wrong as drug dealing, burglary and murder. You obviously have no conscience in that you actually believe that what you are doing is "honest". Ask yourself, hypothetically, If your mother were in that position and had purchased a car from a similar dealership and went through all of the things that your company is known for, would you think that she got a "fair deal". IF YOU CAN'T ANSWER THAT QUESTION WITH INTEGRITY, DON'T ANSWER AT ALL! Let's see how far it goes for your type when it all comes crashing down.

My credit wasn't Bad before JDByrider and CNAC

I just didn't have the money for a great down payment. However my credit does look bad now thanks to CNAC. We Paid the large sum extra every month for gap insurance on our car. It got totaled by some idot pulling out of a parking lot, The car was completely payed off by the gap insurance. Yet it was reported to the credit burrow as I quote "Paid, Closed/Account charged off". Now since you have such a great understanding of how that credit report can make or break you, then you get the fact that "CHARGED OFF" is a negative knock on your credit.... I have been fighting with CNAC to fix the problem for 2years and approx. 6 account reps now and just keep getting blown off. So get off your high horse!!!

Shut up already

You better pray that nothing happens where you find yourself in a situation that affects your credit adversely and leaves you vulnerable to this type of abuse. ANYTHING can happen... So if I were you I would not be so arrogant and cease making nasty comments. Saying that people are lucky shows you have that same mentallity of people who have been kidnapped and enslaved but when given a chance to go free they won't leave... The concept of what this business stands for is dishonest and borderline theft. I don't see luck in dealing with any crooks. I KNOW what the company was built on!

I know this is supposed to be against CNAC but...

I know this is supposed to be against CNAC and JD Byrider but I've had good experiences. I got my car in July of 2005. I've had only a couple of problems with my car since then and they just told me to bring the car in and fixed the problems for free. I got my car at the Marietta location though so I don't know if that makes a difference. I like that they try to match you up with a car payment that fits your budget and I got a car there that has gotten me to and from, going on 3 years now. They even worked out my down payment with me, spreading it out over the course of a month. When I ran into financial problems I did get frustrated with CNAC's lack of any flexibility whatsoever, but they did work enough with me to allow me the few extra days I needed to come up with my payment and always have worked with me if necessary. However, I do know that they hound you down worse than most bill collectors do and they do it by the second day you are behind. Still, they warn you about this (at least my salesperson warned me thoroughly) before you sign the papers.
Also, some of the problems people say they are having with their vehicles the next day...well, did you test drive the car? I mean....really? I had bad credit when I bought this car and knew that I wasn't going to be treated like, or be in a situation where I was buying a car from a Nissan or Infiniti dealership where your car is awesome and you are given greater flexibility with your payments, and I think some people simply didn't realize that. However, I also think that the differences in experiences may be because some of you worked with a different location from me (I'm referring to the JD Byrider aspect now) so you guys just had some extra crappy experiences.
I do also have to say I did on one occasion have to go the hell off on one heiffer at CNAC who gave me attitude for absolutely no reason. I was making my payment on time! She was an unprofessional little...something...but after I complained the next time I called in, I never spoke to her again.
All in all, I have to say I didn't make a mistake doing business with them. In fact, because of them forcing me to make my payments on time and helping me keep my car running, I was able to qualify for a second vehicle that I bought from an Infiniti dealership through Infiniti financing. I still have my JD Byrider car, but I now have a nice alternate vehicle as well.

I will admit, you do have a

I will admit, you do have a point in regards to people messing up their own credit. I think your comment about telling people to find a new job is way off base. It is not easy for people to just go out and find a higher paying job. Maybe you own a staffing agency that these people can call for these higher paying jobs you speak of? Unless you do, I suggest you refrain from making such ignorant comments. JD Byrider is taking advantage of those with bad credit by over charging for these vehicles as well as giving customers extremely high interest rates. I understand that with risk comes cost. What JD Byrider should be doing is charging the higher interest rate and selling the cars at fair market value. Causing financial harm to already low income families, while completely legal, is a highly unethical business practice.

very high interest rate

They are taking advantage of the low income and dis-advantage people here in georgia by overpricing the cars and charging a very high interest rate. This should be against the law and punishable by at least 5 years in prison and a million-dollar fine from each state they do business in. When you pay the notes the balance go practically nowhere. They are definately in the repossession business and the United State Government is highly unethical and corrupt to allow them to stay in business.

No Higher

than allowable by law in your state! Blame the government for passing the laws not the people who abide by them!

I am an employee & also a customer

OK I have read enough.

Yes, I am an employee of a JD Byrider frachise. I am also a customer. My credit personally was in the toilet when I began working there & everyday I was telling people how great the program was based off the training provided to me when I started.

One day my wife asked me how I knew that what I was doing was not just a bunch of crap. My answer, I didnt! So, I bought a car through JD Byrider & CNAC myself. No discount, no interest breaks, no special deals, I got the same treatment that everyone else got. I WANTED TO KNOW.
Two years have gone by & I now have been able to buy a home (6 months in to my contract w/ CNAC) & a brand new Suburban for my wife @ a 3 percent interest rate (1 year in contract).
My point? The program works if you are serious about it. If you just want a car and could care less about your credit GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Your salesperson should be telling you that, I do.

YES, you are going pay more for a car at Byrider than at a "traditional lot", you should have ben told that as well.
What you need to understand is that at Byrider you are not just buying a car, you are buying into a "program" that is designed to help protect (warranty) you while we help you build some positive credit.

As far as the vehicles go, they are NOT NEW! They are going to break (FYI...there are more computers on a car today than the first appolo that landed on the moon) they are designed by the car companys to do so, their not stupid. If cars didnt break then nobody would ever buy a new car! The JD Byrider warranty is not a "bumper to bumper", there is no such animal! This warranty is designed to HELP absorb the cost of keeping the car doing its job. Show me a "buy here-pay here" that does that!

Now, on to the interest rate. CNAC is an EXTREEMLY high risk finance company. No, the interest rate is not going to be "prime" by any stretch of the imagination, however CNAC's rate is generally LOWER than the "buy here-pay here world". Every franchise is different.

On to the "harrasment" allegations.
Think about this. If YOU loaned me $9000
would YOU want YOUR money when I said I would give it to you or "whenever I got around to it"......enough said about that.

The JD Byrider program is not for everyone I understand that & I am not "mad" at anyone who decides that it is not for them. What I am mad about is the fact that ALL customers of Byrider & CNAC are told these things at the time of purchase & a contract is signed ON VIDEO for crying out loud!

If you are tired of getting kicked in the face at the new car dealerships & tired of trying to figure out how to pay for the repairs on the cars that you buy from the small lots stop in and see me at the knoxville store.
Let JD Byrider do what it was designed to do.
