...Sticking it to JD Byrider and CNAC like they stuck it to us...

An all new low in dealing with this pathetic excuse for a car dealer who destroys credit

Well as everyone knows now Jd Byrider and CNAC are owned by eachother and are one and the same. In two months since I "defaulted" on the vehicle my ex husband and I purchased will be seven years old. During the past seven years (I haven't had the vehicle since 2001) they have sued us in a different county than we lived without serving us. They were awarded 148 dollars for the '91 Sillouhette plus replevin. Well I haven't spoken much with my ex husband but I believe the van broke down on the side of the highway and he left it. Well not only do they close the loan on my credit report they sell my debt four times to different debt collection agencies and this is after the judgement. While I was making payments they had the vehicle 80% of the time I acknowledge owning it personally but jointly, after my seperation we split it all and I let him keep the van since I had no job and was in college. While we paid for and drove an hour to the dealer each time the same problem persisted. I of course bought the warranty and paid the deductible. When it got to them having the van six times I stopped getting paperwork and the second time there was no paperwork I put up a stink and they corrected the paper problem but I stalled out down the road with the same symptoms I drove it right back and was very mad because they had it for three weeks. I doubt they looked at it. I was told I didn't need to use them if I wasn't satisfied with their service and I questioned whether I would be refunded for the purchase of the warranty that they added to my loan. Of course not. So now almost seven years later my debt has been sold to a company who now claims I owe them 20,000 dollars when the debt was a little over 7,000 dollars remaining on the vehicle. I was told this was because of fees accrued from the debt being serviced. I don't agree to it. JD Byrider has it listed that they settled the debt for less than what they put it out for. I sent this new company a drop dead letter and a copy of the judgement I was able to print online no word from them but it is still active on my credit report. I am waiting the two months because I am not sure what the seven year cut off is the loan origination date or the date that is listed as the default date. If it is the loan origination date that has passed and I am waiting for them to keep the May 2005 date that is not correct. Anyone who contributes to the ill meaning business practices of CNAC/ JDByrider (that was how it was stated on my credit report and further research confirms they are one in the same all owned and funds going into the same till. Any suggestion as to a good way to remedy this is appreciated. Buyer Beware! Oh and the BBB didnt do a thing to help me I tried daily for a week to file a complaint and couldn't get cooperation
