Almost got screwed to
I went to a JD Byrider today at 8864 Atlantic Blvd. in Jacksonville, FL. The dealer, Gary Lathion, tried to sell me a 1999 Daewoo Laganza for approx. $9500 when the NADA suggests $3200. I called a friend of mine who said "Get the hell out of there. They are ridiculously trying to rip you off." I knew that but I just needed my friend to confirm that Gary tried to bend me over royally. I read a post of someone saying that JD takes advantage of good people who are trying to make a better life for themselves. That was absolutely true in my case. I went there because their commercial seemed sincere and I needed a car because I have been using the bus, taxi's, friends, and a bicycle since I lost my car in a wreck on January '07. Gary used the fact that I needed better credit and a car to make his pitch. They use your misfortune in life for their advantage. I admit it works very well, especially on people who absolutely have no choice and have to get a vehicle to keep their job. But, it is an evil practice and thank Jesus that I have friends who look out for me.

I know what you mean
All in the same day!
Brilliant!
So, to check the KBB, you knew EXACTLY what condition the car was in, riiiight?, Or, Mr. Finance manager, did you do what's typical of certain dealerships, and put the car out to be in perfect condition? And, I assume this user contacted you to let you know how many miles were on it, correct? And, I assume you know wether it's the SE, SX, or, CDX? (Hey -- KBB.com asked me!)

Oh -- and, that post wasn't from today, there's a field at the bottom of the post, that will show you what date it was posted.
Oh, and, since you work at JDB, you should have noticed in the TOS, that there is a format I expect your name to be in, particularly, since you have taken to harassing my users.
Oh, and, on a sidenote, yes, this individual was not LUCKY to bring the NADA book to JDB, but, SMART to do so. Really, anytime you go to buy a car, it's a very good idea, to at least have a ballpark idea of what it's worth. If only I'd have taken my own advice, way back when, I wouldn't have wound up with a $10,000+ car worth $2000 when I drove it off the lot.
Anyhow, back to the daewoo. Here's what I got...
SX -- $4500 (Way less than $9500)
SE -- $3900 (WAY less than $9500, and, closest to the described price, with the right options or miles, this one could likely be it!)
CDX -- $5000 (Still, way less than $9500)
So, where's the other $6000 - $4500 come from?
Of course, we haven't even MENTIONED finance charges yet....
